Inspiration:

“The painting I created reminds me of the peacefulness of the beaches, the sunsets, and the water out east in New Brunswick. I feel calm, relaxed, and at peace when I look at this. It’s just a different atmosphere out there - it’s laid back and it’s so nice to be surrounded by nature and the ocean.”

“I haven’t been there since I was 12. We used to visit family out there. I definitely miss it out there and I would love to bring my kids there one day just to show them the different parts of Canada. Ontario is busy all the time so it would be good to have a change of pace and show them a slower and calmer way of life.”

"At my low points, it is a good escape and a good distraction. When I’m struggling with my mental health, depression, and PTSD, this helps me through it as a form of therapy. I find that when you're painting, taking the paint brush, using the paint, and painting something is a good way to get emotions out."
