Social Enterprise is the path forward.
A Social Enterprise is an organization that is created solely for the purpose of achieving a social objective. The objective can be as broad as solving food insecurity in Canada, or as narrow as providing opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities in Guelph.
We believe Social Enterprise is the way forward because it uses our existing business infrastructure to create a parallel (and better) system that uses business as a force for social good. Individuals, groups, corporations, non-profits, and charities can all create a Social Enterprise and be part of the growing movement towards a better community.
